Nice weekend getaway

Our stay was good though I would say it wasn't quite as good as we had expected. We were not greeted, or even acknowledged, upon arrival or asked if we needed help with our bags - we had suitcases and golf bags so weren't travelling light. Check in process was terrible. There were only 2 people behind the desk and a line up. We were in line to check in for at least a half hour. Not a good start at all.

Room was nice though cleaning was sporadic. 2 days we had to call to get our room cleaned. The first day it wasn't cleaned by 5pm and on the 3rd day, there was a note saying we had our privacy sign out and we didn't. It was still hanging inside the room!

Grounds and pool area were very nice. Staff were super friendly and attentive.

We golfed 3 days and the course is gorgeous. However, on one of our twilight rounds, the 14th fairway was FULL of residents from the villas playing soccer, baseball, etc. Had to be 100 people out there and they were not moving. We weren't able to play that hole and the poor guy at the pro shop was so exasperated and says it happens all the time. This needs to be addressed.

Food was great. Staff at restaurants were very nice.

All in all a good resort but a few things could be improved if they want to be considered a legit 4 star resort. [Details]
