Our Stay in London

I was very satisfied with our stay at this property. The location was very convenient for us, the station was only a minute away therefore easy access to other parts on London. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient for us. One minor issue was that we were able to hear people talking and other noises through our room's walls. The staff were very professional and helpful, especially Elvis and another lady (can't remember her name). Overall I was very happy with our stay here. [Details]

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and quiet and the hotel staff was very polite. The room was a bit small compared to North American hotel rooms but it didn't matter because we were only in the room at night to sleep. We spent the majority of our time out exploring London. The strong points

Great location a block from the Gloucester Tube Station. Plenty of places to eat nearby and the hotel's own Indian Restaurant is fantastic. Some of the best Indian food we've eaten.

The weak points

Room size is small compared to North American hotels but it was clean and quiet and economical.

The strong points

Location was fantastic for our needs. Accessibility to transit,booking tours, internet,food,walking to museums etc.Quiet as had room facing back. No need for big/fancy ammenties as seeing the city. Get a London Pass before you leave home.

The weak points

Hotel in need of reno's (old).Watch the last step into the lobby-fell into the hotel on arrival!. Bed comfortable but smaller then used to. But didn't go to London to spend time in hotel room. so worked for us!!

The hotel has an excellent location in a very vibrant and accessible part of London. Its a short, 1 minute walk to the underground with three different lines to start your journey. The V & A Museum as well as Kensington Park, Harrods and Royal Albert Hall are all only minutes away by foot or underground. The continental breakfast included with the room was pretty good with lots of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juice, toast and tea/coffee. [Details]

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff.

The weak points

The bathroom was very small (not unlike most hotels in UK) but water pressure was very poor especially if you were trying to shower at peak times i.e. 7 - 9 am.

Hotel was clean, room was small but that is to be expected in Europe. All the comments about the elevator are unnecessary, yes its small and slow but so were those in many other places we went.
Heads up take a large bar of soap for the shower and an extra towel. Also don't spend the extra to upgrade breakfast. It was poorly prepared and we left most of it. [Details]
