Beautiful island with great excursions

The Penthouse suite was perfect for our needs. The size of the room and patios were fantastic along with the view. We were impressed with the huge jazzuci/pool on one of our patios.
But there were some issues in the room that could have been fixed very easily. Given that we had one of the best rooms at the resort some of these issues should have been dealt with before we checked in. Eg. Burnt out lightbulbs, curtains that didn't open or close easily due to the hanging rods and curtain hooks that fell off, and the glass shelf behind the bar that was not installed straight - I was amazed that the glasses didn't fall off the slanted shelf. The bigger issue was NO curtain at the window where the beautiful bathtub was situated. I had to use the bathtub in total darkness so people walking around the grounds wouldn't get a free peep show if they happened to look up at our room. Next time I will come prepared with tape and paper that I can tape on the windows for privacy.
Even though all the staff were attentive, we hoped the 2 butlers assigned to us had not been changed. Only had them 4 days out of 7. [Details]

We had a great time tried to extend our visit but unfortunately no flights avail for the time we needed to leave.
Hotel was beautiful cappuccinos were amazing. Staff was very friendly ( noela from the coffee house was amazing !) she made our trip that much better!
So get your coffee from her! Such a sweet lady. ) [Details]

Overall a nice resort but expected more for a 5 star resort. [Details]
