This was our 2nd time to the resort.
Exceptional friendly staff throughout the resort who try their very best to ensure you have a great vacation.
Lots of activities available if you want to participate.
The resort is like new and well maintained.
The food was excellent. Bonus to have access to restaurants at Dreams next door. Gaucho Grill was excellent!
Great never to make reservations for any of the restaurants or having to wear a wrist band.
House wines were decent.
Entertainment was excellent. Plenty of talented live music and the evening shows were great.
The beach is perfect for walking long distances and was clear of seaweed unlike the Mayan Riviera which unfortunately gets tons more washing up. [Details]

The staff are 5*, the hotel is a bit dated but well kept. Beach is beautiful, pool is quite chilly. We upgraded to Preferred when we got there and if you like the beach, it is worth it. Just go! So worth it. Hotel next door is much larger and it was nice to go over and eat and swim in their pools. [Details]

2nd time staying at S.P.M. and enjoyed it as much as our first time. Resort is a good size and also allows for use at the Dreams resort next door. Food is excellent, never disappointed. Staff are fantastic at the restaurants and poolside. Always helpful. [Details]

This was the worse vacation we have been on . The hotel has no respect for those booked in at resort. Shooting on the beach was very scary,sure was not a relaxing vacation. Hotel management never made attempt in regards to our safety or explain what was going on.After money its was a daily accurrence to see the police on the beach.
Food was awful. I was sick after eating at the Italian Restaurant and was husband was sick after eating at the Seaside Grill.
I would never recommend this resort to anyone. [Details]

I've stayed at this property twice and have been to almost all Secrets resorts and this one is most definitely my favorite.

The food is amazing, the french onion soup at the French restaurant is a must order.

The pool is heated (which is great in the cooler months, not so great when it's hot out!). And you don't have to worry about getting a good seat. There are great seating available at the pool and the beach no matter what time of day you go down. [Details]

Staff were amazing, hotel was beautiful, everything was a 10 , got a bit busy when two conventions showed up on Thursday but overall this place has it all [Details]
