I was a single mom travelling with my two teenage boys for a week in Loreto. We had the third floor room with two double beds (mattresses are very hard) and a twin cot. The room was large with all the amenities of a small kitchen. There was an adjoining door to another room (locked) and noise travelled through that door loudly when the other room was occupied. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Santa Fe. It was clean and staff were very respectful. Be prepared to walk a lot to the market square or towards the water. It took us 15 minutes. I have no problem recommending this hotel. [Details]

The strong points
Very clean and friendly staff.
The weak points
The beach is very undesirable. The pool was on the small side but was sufficient for the number of guests at the time we visited. The hot tub did breakdown and was out of commission for three days but then we departed.
