Citadines St Germain Des Pres

I chose to stay at this hotel because it had great reviews from previous guests and I have to say - they were right! The location was so central and super easy. We were able to get to anything within about 7 minutes on foot. The Louvre, Notre Dame, Saint-Michel, Pont des Arts, numerous shops and restaurants and even the grocery store...though we did have trouble finding it the first day. Having our own kitchenette made this trip so much more affordable and convenient. Eating out in Paris for every meal would have made this trip far too expensive. We were able to splurge a bit on the meals that we did choose to eat out because we saved so much with our kitchenette. It was well stocked with a two burner stove top, mini fridge (no freezer), toaster, microwave and kettle. There were plenty of dishes including pots and pans so we did well. There was even a little dishwasher which was cute and very practical. There are two coffee/hot chocolate machines in the lobby area which were a lovely addition. There was also an ice/filtered water machine just around the corner which we appreciated as we came in from our excursions. Our room was up on the 7th floor in the 'no view' part of the hotel. We had a spectacular view though! We could see the top 1/2 of the towers at Notre Dame, two different landmarks which I am unsure of but were beautiful and just a lovely city view in general. The only strange part about our room is that it was on two levels with the toilet on the main floor and the sink and shower upstairs with the bedroom. We wouldn't have traded our room for anything though. It was really neat! Overall, we would most definitely stay here again. It was perfect for us!!
