Front desk welcoming and helpful
Very clean and modern
Great shower and lots of hot water
Lovely buffet breakfast. Great coffee. It included toast, eggs, fruit, cheeses, meats, pastries, cereal, yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Lovely garden area to eat in.
Grocery store about 1/2 block away that also sold wine.
Beautiful linear park between the hotel and the metro and bus stations.
Several cafes at the traffic circle by the metro station
It is an easy walk to go the the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysees
Two suggestions to make it even better
1. Provide more towel racks. A note asks us to re-use towels, yet doesn't give us any place to hang them to dry. They are quite thick and do not dry quickly.
2. Figure out some way to separate smokers and non-smokers at breakfast. [Details]

We stayed at this Hotel for 7 days, it was clean, professional and welcoming. I would give them a 4 star rating. We are from Canada and are a custom to large breakfasts. In Europe, not only at this hotel, but another that we visit the norm is a buffet style breakfast with a nice selection of croissants, breads, cereal, fruits, eggs and cheese. Which was fine, just not we North American are use to. House keeping was great, the staff was great, they were helpful. The garden was nice to sit in the mid afternoon or evening. The rooms are just enough, we would have like to have a fridge. The hotel has there own map of the major attractions in Paris with a list of recommendations near the hotel for cafe and restaurant. We tried a few that were on their list that the were great.

We stayed here for 7 nights (Apr 4-11 2012), nice, quiet and clean hotel. Great location on a residential street, 5 min from RER & subway, a short walking distance to a grocery store. The hotel staff very helpful with whatever i needed. Delicious breakfast, (bufffet style- all you can eat) 7-10 AM.EXCELLENT VACATION !!! [Details]

Hotel Magellan was a dream come true. Close to subway, breakfast at 7.00-10.00,great food and people. Room very clean,plasma TV, coffee maker,bath,shower,hairblower. Bed very confortable. What else can I say. We would stay there again if in Paris again. Sue Devine [Details]
