From the moment we arrived we had nothing but the best of service! From the check in desk, our concierge (Carlos) and all of the staff was second to none. The poolside service from Santa was perfect... rooms, grounds, beach, everything was spotless. The room service was unbelievable and available 24/7. We will surely be visiting again! [Details]

The strong points
Our servers and staff, especially Santa were awesome! Something for everyone
The weak points
The only thing I can think of is the music. Poolside during the day, the only good music comes from the aquatics program in the pool @ noon. Other than that.... is almost elevator music as background noise. Didn't really bother us.... just different.

My girlfriend and I brought our daughters to this resort for spring reading week from College and had a fabulous time!
A huge shout out to all of the staff!! Sadly I don't remember all of their names but here are a few...

The strong points
Service was excellent Food was really good although the buffet for breakfast and lunch was always the same. The al a cartes were all great!! We particularly liked Bordeau and Seaside Grill. All of the staff were friendly and very accommodating.
The weak points
The only really negative was the lack of towels by the pool. There seemed to be a shortage of towels which meant the pool staff were rationing.

This resort was pure luxury. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. The walk in shower with a view of the ocean was amazing! We loved the balcony with its soaker tub and comfortable loveseat. The buffet was delicious and had everything you could imagine. Our favorite restaurants were the Asian and seafood ones. We loved that it was “first come, first served” with no reservations needed. The beach was gorgeous and the pool area was amazing too. Lots of chairs and umbrellas and palm trees for shade. The week we were there was not especially busy which we appreciated. The entertainment was okay. Mostly musical acts. [Details]

The strong points
The room was very tasteful and comfortable. The service was fantastic. Our valet was only a text away to answer any questions. Drinks were great - all kinds of premium liquor.
The weak points
The entertainment was a bit cheesy, they had shows every other night. The Italian and French restaurants weren't very memorable.

Everything about this resort is beautiful. It has the perfect ambiance, a blend of relaxation and fun. Everything you need for a fantastic holiday is available. All staff is amazing, but management is not really interested in great customer service. We all felt like we were not treated in that special fashion we had been led to believe (by emails) we would receive. We made the best of it, but will probably not return due to the feeling of neglect by management. [Details]

I holiday 2 x a year and have been to a lot of all inclusives. This was my first time to Punta Cana and so glad we chose Secrets Cap Cana. We got a super deal for 10 days which I thought might be too long but turned out great. The hotel is very clean,organized,and laid out perfectly. Pools are the most amazing ever. Beach is soft almond flour like and very long for good walks. Ocean was murky but you could walk out in waist high water forever, no waves and safe. Service from All the hotel staff,front desk,bellman,waiter,maids,the awesome entertainment crew and coffee shop baristas, chefs,bartenders etc etc etc. Was excellente.we where treated like royalty. When we said thank you, they're favourite reply was My pleasure. Food was good just not amazing. Some restaurants better than others. Great top shelf drinks and again 5star service. Room was clean, well laid out and a super awesome double rain shower. A/C worked 100%. The only thing that was yucky was the woody weird wet smell in the room. Which is very typical in a humid hot climate. Which we got used too in a few days. Would I go back? Maybe. [Details]
