Pura Vida More beautiful than expected….the beach the resort and OMG the people….all employees are excellent ambassadors for the resort….great food! Recommend to anyone

Came with my 14 year old daughter for a mommy and me vacation . Our vacation was great. Location was perfect. Service wasn't great.

I travelled here alone and was treated like a queen! I had my 79th birthday during my stay and was feted with balloons and a birthday cake! Since I can only walk short distances, I was loaned a wheelchair, and had a bell boy push me to some of the restaurants because the complex is huge. All the staff were SO helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful two weeks!

Our vacation was amazing beginning to end Hotel and grounds - beautiful hotel and rooms, the grounds are mature and have loads of trees and plants. The hard working staff keep everything clean and well manicured. The hotel is quite spread out so there is lots of walking which is nice, you feel like you have moved a little each day Pool and Beach - lots of pools so they never feel over crowded, the pools are a lovely temperature so it is easy to spend lots of time in them. We snorkled off the beach to the right seen small sting rays and puffer fish Food was good, no wait at restaurants. Drinks were delicious my fav was the green monster Morning walks of the resort seen parrots, howler and spider monkeys. The resort has morning and sunset hikes guided also they are great with beautiful views and guided sunset kayaks! So nice! Do these. The only down side was the distance from the airport and to excursions We will definitely go back

We had a great stay, with comfortable beds and good food, but the thing we loved the most was the view of the ocean from our balcony or from the long infinity pool every morning. The hotel has a shuttle down to the main road every two hours, but we opted to take the 15-minute walk up and down the hill from the beach, sometimes two or three times a day.

First all inclusive I have stayed at. Went for my honeymoon, my wife loved everything about it, the food, the drinks and the service! The staff was unbelievable and so helpful with everything. Did activities everyday, was just a ton of fun

The hotel location is the best part of the vacation. The beach is amazing, long walks, NO PEOPLE, jumping stingrays. The trip to the hotel is very long- be prepared, we landed in Liberia to avoid the overnight in San Jose but was still a 3.5 hr ride. One section was so rough our driver called it a Costa Rica massage. Once there we were happily surprised by the resort, not too large, clean large rooms, minibar.The resort is well maintained and nice to see wildlife on the grounds- howler monkeys, iguanas, small crocs in the pond, birds. Food was okay, very repetitive, NO seafood which was disappointing. It may have been due to the time of year we were there, MANY local families as it was their holiday break. Please check before you go if you want quiet because it was like Great Wolf Lodge at march break when we were there- too busy and may have been why food was repetitive and ordinary. Love the area but would go back at non holiday time.
