Aruba

What an amazing trip we had! The island is beautiful, the food is delicious and everyone is extremely friendly! The hotel itself was perfect - we stayed in the adult-only hotel and it was worth it if you don't want children around the pool and restaurant. The food from the hotel was great, especially the fish served on the private island that comes with your stay (the private island has flamingos on it you can feed!). We cannot say enough good things about the hotel: the location in downtown was exactly the spot to be, the room was the right size and comfort, the pool at our location was excellent, the 2 private beaches were in wonderful condition and all the spaces were clean. The local cuisine was so delicious! Aruba Cafe, Yejaman, Coco, Lucy's and Driftwood are a few places we would recommend you to stop in at for food. Also take advantage of horseback riding to get to see parts of the island you wouldn't otherwise. We would also suggest jumping on the public bus called Arubus which is only $5 for a round trip and a easy and cheap way to tour the small island. If you love standup comedy, like we do, you should check out Aruba Ray's comedy show. He gets some of the world's best to perform with multiple shows each week. The archeological museum downtown is also free to attend - you can learn a good deal of the rich and complicated history of the island. Overall you can't miss with a trip to Aruba - you'll never wanna leave!

Very pleased at the Riu.

We arrived at the Eagle Aruba Resort and Casino an hour before check in and got our room immediately which was great. Very clean and renovated room. Everything worked as it should. Staff was sweet. Food was good at Uncle Tony‘s. We purchased the breakfast plan but think it's better to just wing it for anyone considering that option. Pools were clean and not crowded. All in all…..A wonderful resort close to the beach for the price range.

We had an excellent time last week at the Brickell Bay Beach Hotel. The staff we're great and very attentive to our needs. The breakfast bar was much better than I had expected given that it was part of the package and the ladies running it were amazing! The room was dated but the bed was good and they did their best to keep it clean. I understand that the hotel is under renovation so it will make a big difference once the rooms have been updated. The location of the hotel was the best and so close to restaurants and shop. The beach front was very nice although some days it was tricky getting a lounge chair. Overall we had a great time and we look forward to coming back once the renovation has been completed.

Without a doubt, we would return to Bucuti and Tara. This resort is clean, the beach is magnificent with lots of space between Palapas. The people ie: Frank (front reception) and the girls at the front desk made our arrival so easy and welcoming. Cold cloths and champagne at greeting. Took us right away to our room with at least an hour of explaining everything. While lying on the beach everyday, someone brought around cold cloths and a bit of fresh fruit while you are just relaxing at the beach, what a treat. We felt relaxed which is all you have at the Bucuti, no loud music, no children, people were not in your face but there, when you needed ANYTHING. I can't say enough about how pleasant our time was for two weeks. Keep up the amazing job that you do.
