We arrived April 6, 2012. Disappointed with our room when we arrived but paid an upgrade to a one bedroom suite, 900-1200 block. We loved this resort and highly recommend to all. The food was amazing. The staff were absolutely wonderful, very friendly!

Overall beautiful resort with outstanding staff!!

Nice location and scenery but hotel accomodations, facilities, services and beach should not be considered 4 star, at best it's more like a 2.5 star resort. There were constant shortages of beach chairs, beach towels and long lineups to sign up for the water sports activities. There were also long lineups for the breakfast and buffet dinner restaurants (Palms & Bamboo)on a daily basis. Staff very slow on service, they seem overwhelmed I heard a rumour that the resort was over booked..how is that even possible ! The rooms (200s) we stayed in were so outdated and dingy looking (considering the money you pay). The bathtub takes forever to drain and overnight there is some sort of backup in the drainage causing some foul smelling sediments left in the bathtub. The front desk service is slow, I had to call several times and escalate to manager before action is taken. The beach on the resort is not the best, the water is very murky and muddy, don't expect blue and clear water.
On the positive side, the resort grounds are well kept and the food is decent even though there was a lack of variety. Also the inclusion of free water ski and banana boat rides in the water sport activities is a plus. The Joy land and sea tour is a must do. Overall I would not go back to this resort or recommend it as a 4 star resort.

The hotel rooms were very clean, the food was very good, the service was excellent, the beach was clean, all in all, a very enjoyable stay at the Almond Morgan Bay, no complaints, the staff was very helpful and very friendly! Can't wait to go back!

Our family went for the second time and loved it as much as the first time. Everything is clean, people are friendly, food is great and something for everyone of the family.

The hotel rooms and the service from staff was very good. Not enough staff at the bars, had to wait long times for a drink, so would need to order 2 so that you did not have to wait. The food was not good, breakfasts were okay (buffet), lunches were okay (BBQ on beach - chicken, burgers and fish, every day), suppers were poor (no buffets, ala cartes only, had 4 choices of menu items and were not likeable items, never offered any shrimp, lobster, roast beef, steak. Would not return due to poor supper choices/ and variety. I would not return to this hotel

The staff are wonderful, lovely property on spacious grounds with lots of different things to do.

The premise is clean and well maintained,
beautiful garden and excellent scenery.
The staff is warm and responsive.

Staff at the hotel was professional, amicable, service was very good, rooms clean, food good. Setting of the hotel buildings is such that one has an ocean view from any room.Overall, very pleasant experience.

all was good except hotel would not honor golf voucher

The hotel was nicely laid out. The rooms were nice-sized and comfortable. We had asked for a quiet room and we got our choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the lunch BBQ's on the beach. The beach was nice, although small in area. There were large rocks in the water when walking in off the beach, which were very uncomfortable. We especially liked the fact that there was a pool dedicated to families with children near the snack bar. We loved our dinners at Morgan's Pier, once it was opened. All in all, we have a really nice rest and a good experience.

We loved the hotel, the food, the people, the weather, everything was fabulous! I would definitely recommend it (and have) to friends and family and plan to return in the near future.

Something for everyone .. families, older and young people. Easy going, friendly and very helpful staff. Everything was clean and food was good .. we enjoyed the authentic cuisine .. the kids enjoyed Hamburger, Hotdogs and Pancakes ;) We had a great time and can't wait to visit again!

A good 4 star family-oriented resort with good services, pleasant staff and the expected amenities.

I would not recommend the resort. We had a good vacation because we decided not to dwell on the problems at the resort such as, negative staff, poor service, broken air conditioner, running out of red wine and the list goes on!
