Magnifique resort où nous sommes traités comme des rois!

Tout était parfait. Vacances très reposantes. De vrais jus de fruits disponibles aux bars auraient été appréciés.

Mon chum et moi avons passé une magnifique semaine. Nous étions plutôt habitué à des hôtel 3 étoiles et là, vraiment, nous avons été épaté de ce 5 étoiles! Les chambres sont magnifique et confortable, tout est très propre. Le site enchanteur et les 2000 cocotiers sur le site nous donne droit des des chants d'oiseaux vers 17h00. La quatlité de la bouffe variment excellent. Nous ne savions même pas que l'hôtel était dans les catégories GI (gourmet inclusive). Les drinks sont fait avec des vrais jus de fruits et sont servi directement sur la plage. Le service et le personnel très sympathique.C,est un hôtel très tranquille en adulte seulement.Il y avait très peu de québécois . La plage est rocailleuse, je suggère d'amener des pichous d'eau. Mais si vous aimez faire de la plongée en apnée, il y a pleins de poissons juste en face. Si vous voulez une belle plage de sable, vous n'avez qu'à marcher 5 minutes sur la plage. Vous êtes à 15 minutes d'auto de Tulum et de Playa Del Carmen. Vraiment rien de négatif à dire!

Dont pick this resort if you are the only one vacationing

This resort was beyond expectations! The service was unbelievable and the resort was spotless! Food was absolutely fantastic. Definately going there again!

quiet and friendly hotel

Everything about this hotel was amazing! I have stayed at several all-inclusives and none of them even come close to this one! The service was second to none and the food was unbeatable! The resort was clean, the room was always made up when we got to it and the facilities were unbelievable! I will return to this resort and would highly recommend it to everyone!!!

beach beds are great, very small usable beach and you must bring water shoes as walking on the coral beach is painful.

food major disappointment as was the state of the spa

grounds are very lush

food as described on menus was a far cry from what you got and no filet unless you wanted to pay the $30 premium

Avoid this resort.
My husband & I headed down to Mexico for his birthday and had a horrible time.
They forgot the birthday cake, champaign and even the pre-booked decorations for his birthday... even after reminding them the day before. They did not even apologise!!

Cons about the place;
-The place had racoons because they never cleared the plates after use.
-The service is very slow.
-The entertainment is absolutely boring and child like
- Non existent rocky beach.. bring water shoes

This place is ideal for those over 50 or part of a large group.

We will never return to this horrible resort or any of their sister properties.

Overall, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is lovely and clean. Otherwise, it's Noah's Ark (nothing but couples) meets bland camp (food is nicely presented but certainly not 'gourmet', as advertised).

I could have never even hoped the resort would be as amazing as it was! There are places to sit back and relax every few feet around the resort and one could lay there all day without ever having to get up - until of course dinner... which is a nightly event that you're not going to want to miss. Food was indescribably good! This is the place to go if you just want to have a *quiet*, relaxing (lazy), TRUE vacation!

My husband and I just returned from a one week stay at this amazing resort for our delayed honeymoon. I recommend this resort to any couple wanting to spend a romantic and quiet time away in paradise. This resort is definately a 5 star. The room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. The service and food was exceptional. The beach is beautiful-yes it has a lot of coral but is also great for snorkeling and feeding fish right at the shore line. Walk about 1 km to the right of the resort and you will find water with soft sand, no coral and perfect for swimming. No complaints at all really. Tip-bring money for tipping because the staff at this resort work hard and deserve it! Do yourself a favour and don't look anywhere else. Well worth the money spent!

At current prices, this resort is great value for dollar. Great food, amazing service, nice grounds, good snorkelling, swanky beach beds. Very romantic.

If your concierge offers you a $150 credit to attend a 90 minute "customer loyalty card" seminar, don't waste your time. Spoiler alert: after 90 minutes of a very high-pressure but grossly ill-prepared salesman repeatedly stating "this is not a timeshare", it will turn out it is in fact a time share. And even better, they want $12,000 US on the spot. Save your money and your time - you'll get way better deals cruising the internet and you won't have to amortize 12K. Like I'm going to give some stranger 12000 bucks...haha...

Only other issue was my wife getting food poisoning, but having a raw salmon appy in the tropics was probably a bad idea. Probably best to avoid raw fish no matter how nice the resort.

Excellent Staff, Grounds, Food, Drinks, Rooms.

As past Sandals guests (Platinum Signature), we were totally blown away by EDSS. Every aspect is incredibly done, from the individual check-ins (they did forget our glasses of sparkling wine but oh well!) to dinner to the beach beds. The beach is not what the picturesque mile-long white sand all travelers might be used to but they have done exceptionally well with what they have. We can't wait to go back!

Felt we could have got a better price when the week later was much cheaper, especially when we were there last year.

My boyfriend and I travelled to this resort for 1 weeks time. Travel to and from the hotel was made easy by shuttle bus. Upon arrival at the resort you are greeted by the friendliest staff who will continue to assist and serve you throughout your stay. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service at this resort. They go above and beyond to ensure that everything is to your liking. When we checked into our first room the air conditionning wasn't working. One call to front desk and they whisked us to another room and even came to help us with our luggage. The ambiance here is very romantic and quiet. We absolutely loved the fact that it was a small resort offering a private and romantic setting. The staff got to know our names and vice versa which was also very nice. The food was delicious and the menus rotated so you can have something different to eat at every meal which is nice. My boyfriend and I also decided to rent a car to go sight seeing which was made easy by the staff at the front lobby. There is great snorkeling right off the beach where there is coral reef within several feet. We absolutely loved it there and will recommend it to anyone

We couldn't have been happier with our trip the the Eldorado Seaside Resort. The staff were excellent, the room was fantastic and the food was amazing. We can't wait to go back again and again!

An awesome couples vacation spot. Great ala carte restraunts, amazing staff, nice rooms (had a swimup), great bars, beautiful landscaping. Check in and check out went flawlessly. I would highly recommend Eldorado Seaside to couples looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday location with great food and attentive staff always looking to please.

We will be back!

Excellent. It is definitely a 4 hotel and resort. Highly recommend it. I am not one to go back to the same place, but if I was to choose another great value one week trip to Mexico, there would be a strong possibility I would go back!!

Over all the food rooms and service was great. The service staff were very kind and quick to respond. I would recommend the resort if you are not big on the beach.
