Do not have one bad thing to say about this place. Very clean, beautiful rooms, fantastic staff, great food with lots of variety and the most beautiful beach ever. It definetly was a dream come true. We can't wait to go back there again.

This hotel is very well maintained. There are alot of families with children and a lot of weddings are performed. The weddings take up space in the evenings for dinners and dancing which can be a little noisy. But our main concern was the lower part of the beach and ocean. If an ocean experience is what you are going for, this area is not where you want to be.

The pools, the spa and the restaurants were very good. The spa holds a small gym with good quailty equipment and they have a little studio that they hold yoga and spin classes during the week. There are 3 pools, 2 for the children and a larger pool that is great for the adults which over looks the ocean and also has a swim up bar. The service can be spotty in the restaurants but over all, the service was good, no issues with housekeeping and the 24 hour room service comes in handy if you are going on any excursions.

Great place to stay, excellent food, very friendly staff. Location was great (15 minutes from the airport)

nous avons adoré cet hotel !!! nous avons été servi comme des dieux !!! la nourriture était excellente!nous avons séjourné 7 jours et je n'ai pas mangé la même chose de la semaine pour nous c'était géniale!tous le personnels est très gentil et très serviable !! le seul bémole c'est que l'hotel est très écho difficile de dormir ou de faire des siestes ! nous entendons les gens dans le corridor comme s'il était dans notre chambre (numero 2321) moi qui a le sommeil léger! nous avions demandé une chambre vu sur le jardin et nous eu une chambre vu sur coté construction du personnel!!!très laid comme paysage et très bruyant!!

Dreams Riviera Cancun is a great resort!! They cater to families and destination weddings. The resort is gorgeous!! The rooms are modern and beautiful. I have been to other all inclusive resorts and this is by far the nicest one. All restaurants including the buffet are delicious!!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and its ammenities. It is extremely clean, well kept, service is top notch and was beautiful. There are no marks on the walls, stains etc. Everything is freshly painted and cared for like the hotel just opened last week. This hotel pays attention to those small details, not just the big ones.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience à cet hôtel. La chambre Club Préférence avec Vue sur mer (tourbillon sur le balcon, internet sans fil, petit buffet avec sushi de 5 à 7) Pas de bracelet et pas de limitation de soupers à la carte. Excellent!

Nice resort; great food and service. Rooms are elegant and roomy; comfortable bed; loved the open concept bathroom section of the room and specially the large shower stall.

Cet hôtel est vraiment bien, la nourriture est excellente mais les seules différences entre Dreams et un 4* sont les chambres qui sont plus moderne et le staff qui n'est pas trop friendly... Ils se prennent un peu trop au sérieux... Bref, c'est peut-être juste pas notre truc!

Un hotel idéal pour les couples avec de très jeunes enfants! La proximité et l'agencement du site sont pensés pour les enfants. Pas idéal pour un voyage romantique en couple.
Il faut avoir des souliers dans la mer pour apprécier la baignade sinon les roches nous arrachent la peau des pieds

Beautiful location, spotless room, perfect views, excellent food, wonderful staff. Pools and grounds are kept immaculate. We also like the pool and beach waiter service. Check in is quick and efficient. All our requests were granted.

Nous avons eu de très belles vacances avec les enfants. L'hotel est très propre et le service est excellent. Il y a beaucoup de choix de restaurants. Plusieurs restaurants à la carte sans limite de visite. Il n'y a pas de réservation et nous n'avons jamais attendu au restaurant. Le seul bémol est un maitre d'hotel qui a donné un service moyen un soir. Mais c'était seulement une personne parmi tant d'autres qui ont donné un service exceptionnel! La nourriture était très bonne et très varié. En conclusion, nous avons tout simplement adoré et le recommandons à toute les petites familles!

Overall the hotel is good, I would say that we saw lots of kids and weddings. We have no kids, therefore we felt as a couple, for us too many screaming kids - especially one kid where the mother passed out on a bed and the kid terrorized all people at the pool - throwing drinks in pool, throwing plastic glasses around, tossing water on the people, taking other kids toys, he even slapped one lady (This kid was the perfect ad for Trojan Condoms).

We are looking for a wedding hotel, but from what we saw, little privacy and too many being setup at once. The first day we saw 2 different weddings at same time, then the reception of one wedding drowned out the other reception.

Front Desk - rating was based on our check out, we were to checkout at preferred club but they cut off access early.... I dont care, we paid for this......

Beach is disappointing as you enter water it is rocky, and the seaweed is very abundant. We tried to float in the water, but still with the floating seaweed, this sucked. The main beach with the Palapas is nice and sand soft, very nice to lay in the sun and relax.

We had to switch rooms after first night as the first room was on side that had neighbors with barking dogs .... all night......
The reception at the preferred club was excellent and quick at switching our room, took about 10 mins. After that the room was great.

Food was good, buffet had small selection - restaurant selection was good, wait times were good. I hate the resorts that make you book a reservation. Of course hotel was only 45% booked, would hate to see this resort when fully booked, it would be too crowded.

Preferred club is worth the extra money.

Alcohol was 5 star, excellent quality and well made drinks. Been to 2 other resorts and this was by far the best

As the hotel chain is part of a timeshare or vacation club, they are pushy to get you to the 90 min meeting and offer gifts to go, but as our first impression was a room with a piss poor oceanview next to a private residence or public beach club with barking dogs all night, the meeting never took place.

Spa was small and not very enticing to go, they should offer one free day spa entry to preferred club members to show it off.

I would not return to this hotel due to kids, poor beach front/seaweed, abundance of weddings and also location.

This resort is close to Cancun airport but is a little isolated so isn't a great choice if you want shopping/nightlife close by. Each week there are busses to shop or go to clubs though.

The kids club here is great which is why this resort is an ideal family location. This also means there are a lot of kids here so may not be a good choice for singles or couples.

The food and drinks are top notch. didn't get sick at all during our one week vacation.

Prime chairs in front of infinity pool do get saved early (before 7am) but there are still plenty of other chairs available all day.

Nighttime shows are good quality but end by 10pm. After that there is very little to do, except hang out by lobby bar. Again, if you have kids this probably won't be an issue.

Staff are all super friendly and room/grounds are always very clean.

Plunge pool rooms in the 1000 block get the most sun and are a great option if you have kids that nap during the day.

Had loads of fun at this resort with the family! Read many mixed reviews before we left and am happy to report we didn't experience any devastating issues!

Arrived late morning to hotel after some mismanaged hotel transfer from Cancun airport. The Mexican rule of thumb is multiply by three. Ask three times before things are done, wait three times longer than they tell you it will take. Adopting this rule will help you deal with any frustrations thrown your way. Hotel itself was absolutely lovely, perfect for families. Pool, restaurants, and beach are very clean and easy to access. Would travel here again.

Not a good experience, got sick 2 after getting there and for the rest of the trip.

Resort is absolutely beautiful, top notch service, great rooms, pools, decor, restaurants. However, many people there, including our son, got ill from the food (he had bad stomach cramps etc for several days) and we all had a more minor version as well. This seems to be a real theme on tripadvisor and it is a shame because the place is otherwise fanstatic. Management needs to do something about it.

We were there over the March Break, so it was packed with a wide variety of families, including lots of young kids. Beautiful newer resort with lots of great amenities - just wish the rooms had a bit more sound insulation! Food was fantastic. Not sure that the Preferred Club was worth the extra $!

The service was awesome ... from the moment we arrived to the moment we left ... phrase of the week from the staff was "it is my pleasure" ... food was excellent with lots of choices ... rooms were beautiful ... lots of activities from a very fun "entertainment crew" ... I've traveled to many resorts over 20 years, and this resort wins "best service award" hands down ... truly an "all inclusive" resort ... highly recommend it!

Chambre très très propre et surtout ne sentait pas l'humidité.

Very clean and nice hotel. Service level was very high. Rooms were very nice. Restaurants were excellent. Buffet was a little disappointing. Selection was not as high as other hotels. Prime beach locations under huts required 6:00 am outing to grab chairs.

My Husband and I really enjoyed our time at the Dreams Riviera Cancun. We thought the upgrade to a Plunge Pool Room was a bit of a waste of money because our room was in a location, where there was no sun all day. So the pool was very cold to enjoy it to the fullest.

Truly a Five Star experience right from the beginning. Great service, food and drink. The rooms were very nice. Only caution is don't get sucked into the Time Share presentation although the $200 Spa credit was nice.

Rien de négatif. Belle chambre, architecture intéressante. La piscine et le bar près de la plage parfait pour le 5 à 7. Personnel attentionné.

Enjoyed our time, especially NO tipping! No reservations required but they give you personal timers so you can go to the lounge area and listen to music or have a drink. Had a main floor walkout terrace with a plunge pool although the sun never quite shone on our side and the water was too cold to use.
