awesome view, all rooms are oceanview, food was good mostly ala cartes so men have to wear long pants in the ala cartes sexy coffees were awesome ,For Mexico ordering off a menu was a bonus ,their is a buffet but we never went there.All service was excellent drinks served at the pool ,they had name brand liquor, room service also anytime ,We would definitly go back to the Golden Crown Paradise,best time ever !!!!

Basic hotel for what you pay for. Golden Crown is kept extremely clean-they are always touching things up such as paint and siding.

Food was pretty good and service was great apart from the 'information desk' who were actually just time share people. Right in the lobby so they can't be avoided. They follow you down the hall asking why you won't take a 'free manicure' in exchange for listening to our presentation. Would avoid the hotel for this reason. Too bad.

Itravel was challenging to deal with but eventually things were sorted out.

Beatiful view, nice location - very close to downtown, delicious food in restaurants, a lot of bars and snack bars,friendly staff, a lot of activities, interesting shows and fun games

Liked the hotel and staff. We felt safe and secure and there wasn't anything the staff wouldn't do to make your stay an enjoyable one. Met some great people.

It was very nice to be able to spend some time surrounded by adults only even thought the north part of the complex is for families. The service was good. We, however, were unable to get a room with a king size bed even though we travelled as a couple. Hopefully that had nothing to do with the fact that we are a gay couple. The location is nice but a bit far from PV centretown. However, access to the site is very easy either by public transportation (bus) or taxi. Guests should make sure that they have exchange their money prior to arrival or when they go downtown. Unfortunately, the hotel do not exchange USD to pesos or into smaller pieces of change.

Hotel was pretty much what we expected. Not super fancy, but still very good. Older hotel but very clean, well maintained. Staff is great. Food was good, I ate pretty much everything in site and was no worse for wear. Five minute walk to marina, which is great because most tours and excursions leave from there. Beach was nice but not very private, lots of vendors..

The first room we were put in was bad and we had to pay an upgrade fee to move the next night. Food was excellent as there was a choice of five a-la-carte restaurants. Service for the food and beverage throughout the hotel needs improvement (compared to other hotels in PV). Next time will look at other places as an option. Not sure if the extra costs was worth the restaurants and golf fees

Food was good, with a good variety of a la cartes between the 2 resorts.good selection of bar beverages with a good selection of North American alcohols.Pool activities are good, night club is kind off slow as it is quite a large size. Staff were very friendly and everything was very clean. Downfalls are the pillows are hard and they try to promote a vacation club at the resort.

We just returned from 1 week at the Golden Crown and it was very nice. The hotel is smaller than we are used to but turned out to be very enjoyable. The restaurants were all excellent (did not try Japanese). We did notice the buffets were not nearly as good as the restaurants. There is no problem getting a reservation at one of the 5 ala carte. The crowd is a bit older but that is to be expected from adults only so that didn’t bother us. Beach was very clean and always had a spot. You get a lot of locals trying to sell you stuff but if you ignore them they just move on. The pool area is small but very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We will return to this resort again because of the friendly atmosphere.

I have never been to a resort before where everyone was so friendly - resort was super clean and is perfect for those wanting to socialize or just sit and relax. Make sure to eat at buffet at sister resort and men will need to bring pants for a la carte suppers.

Looks like the hotel used to be a 4 1/2 star property but the hotel is getting run down. Time to up grade the amenities maybe, Food was good at a la cartes but not edible at buffet. Service was just average for a 4-5 star.

Bon hôtel dans l'ensemble. Avec l'hôtel voisin, on a accès à 7 restaurants différents, ce qui permet de la variété. La cuisine est correcte, mais il y a 2 faiblesses: ils ne savent pas bien faire cuire les viandes, et le vin est la même piquette d'un restaurant à l'autre. L'hôtel est à 6 km du centre-ville, bien situé et facile d'accés en bus ou taxi. De la magnifique plage, on a une vue imprenable sur la baie de Puerto-Vallarta. Belle piscine également. Seuls points négatifs: la musique est trop forte autour de la piscine et les vendeurs sur la plage sont tout simplement exaspérants (1 aux 3 minutes en moyenne). Le service est bon et le personnel est courtois.

The rooms and service at this hotel is great. The food portions are smaller but I personally enjoyed that. You can use the services of the sister property next door. The only bad thing was the relentless vendors!! We had a 4th floor ocean front room and they even hollered at us up there. Couldn't relax as they would even harass you at the pool. They were never chased away but were allowed to linger and bother you. I don't mind supporting the locals but it was totally ridiculous.

The hotel itself is very basic. beds were very basic and the pillows were terrible. the people were awesome and the club was clean. service was very good. the resterants were very nice and the pool was top notch.

Good food, good services, it's clean and we love the ocean front room. The golf deals with the 2 clubs are great. (US$58 cart fees for the 2 world class Vista courses). However internet is very expensive (80 peso per hour or 195 peso per day). Also there are a lot of hawkers at the beach, but we noticed that it happens to all the hotels there.

This resort is very relaxing. The a la cartes for breakfast, lunch and dinner are very good, with a lot of choices and the menu changes daily.

Hotel was clean, food was good. A lot of repeat visitors, too many annoying vendors on the beach. Overall was a great time.

This hotel is a 3/4 star. The food is actually very good with a lot of variety and there's lots going on around the pool. The evenings are sort of dead, with a small bar open called "the pub". The sister resort next door has many good restaurants, a sports bar and the buffet. The shows were pretty good and the staff was wonderful.

My 3rd stay in last 3 years. Cannot beat the golf deal. Staff was friendly, location incredible, all rooms with an ocean view, friendly staff. Clean, great service. Only knock for me was I love a great pillow but these sucked so I brought my own. I'll go back for a 4th!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le personnel L'Hotel est un peu vieillot mais très propre. Il manquait cependant un mini frigo qui aurait été bien apprécié dans la chambre.

The staff were great, accomodations very clean and grounds well kept. Overall food was good. We will certainly go back to this resort.

This hotel is older and has had some upgrades but needs more. The family resort next door associated with this hotel is newer and more upscale. I would consider this only a 3 star.Very few non- smoking areas. Rooms are pretty basic with very hard mattresses. Staff is friendly and accomodating. They added a foam mattress pad to soften. Still ended up with back and hip aches by the 3rd night. I would not return due to pesky and rude beach vendors who would interrupt conversations, wake you while dozing in the sun, and approach you while you were eating or swimming at the edge of the pool. Bathrooms far from beaches.
No free internet. Charge was $8/hr or $85 for the week. Better to walk to internet cafe 2 doors down.
Much prefer to stay in Nuevo Vallarta.

We had a great week. The hotel is somewhat dated and yes in need of some upgrading, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff are great and always willing to help make your holiday enjoyable. The fact that every room has a view of the ocean is a plus. The food is average but good. We would definitely go here again, there is just something about this resort that is very relaxing.

sOLD AS 4.5 STAR AND IT'S NOT. lOVED THE STAFF, SERVICE AND LOCATION. WE GOT THE ROOM WE REQUESTED AND SPENT VERY LITTLE TIME THERE. FRIDGE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICER BUT NOT NEC. ALL RESTAURANTS WERE GREAT AND LOVED THE SERVICE. FRIENDLY PEOPLE AND GOOD MIXING RESORT OF THE GUESTS. COULD USE A CAP BAR. SO MANY RETURN GUESTS IT WAS AMASING

My stay at the Golden Crown Paradise was just what I had needed. I was happy with everything. The staff was amazing very accomadating and friendly and went out of their way to make mine and my friends stay unforgettable. The food was awsome and the location cannot be beat. I would highly recommend staying here.
