THe only complaint I have said the rooms were non smoking but everyday when we would put the AC on and come back to our room, all we could smell was smoke.

Well- first let me start by saying my friend and I are not fussy people, however; we do expect feel safe and some level of cleanliness is also expected! Our first impression of this hotel wasn't great! We got out of the bus and the hotel was right on the road, any one could walk in right off the street as do as they wish, as there was no security! We checked in and the lady at the front desk had no manners and didn't even want to deal with us. We get the key to our room and checked it out, well that was eventful let me tell you! We noticed a smell even before we got to our room, the room smelled even worse, just moldy! Our room was dirty, holes in the door, which looked like some kind of rat, ate through it, then the patio door didn't and it was falling off its hinges. So after seeing this we asked to move to a different room and they were booked. Then we asked how much for a room upgrade and they told us $ 250.00 a night. So we went back down stairs and had meet up with other people who had same issues; only they had movement in their room, red ants and mold! So we called our West Jet Rep and couldn't move us until morning and it would cost us an additional $ 160.00 per person, which we thought was unfair because we had paid enough for this vacation already but whatever, just get us the hell out of here! The only thing I can say good about this place were the friends we made but the Hotel itself it’s a flippin’ dump and should be torn down!

We had low expectations,but wanted a vacation and were very surprised. This Hotel was more than adequite but did not quite measure up to what was advertised.

When we arrived at the hotel they had over booked it. We arrived at 04:00 in the morning and had to sit in a uncomfortable lobby until 2 in the after noon. I guess sunwing and the hotel don't care how you are treated.

the hotel was clean and had friendly staff. the food was ok but catered to the mexican palate. there was no elevator. for us to walk up 3 flights with luggage was challenging. Friday night 4 tour bus loads dropped off students from a university 15 hours away. they were loud and ruled wherever they went--the buffet, the pool, the beach. then at night they partied non-stop even when security was notified. for two nights we did get sleep until 6 am. we were glad to see the students leave Sunday morning however, we too, were leaving that night. We used our last few hours to get rest that we were deprived of the last 2 nights. Room 356--the patio door doesn't latch closed thereby allowing noise from the lobby to enter constantly.

This was my 6th visit to Mexico.From the photos of this hotel, I thought this was the perfect Mexican 3.5* hotel.Upon arrival we were very disappointed ,with the room, location, beach & service. The next morning we moved to another hotel which was listed as a 4* & truly was a 4*. We do not recommend the Hacienda Hotel.

je prend quelques minutes pour vous raconter la mauvaise expérience que j'ai vécu a cet hotel. Tout était bien jusqu'a lundi dernier (6/02/2012)

Je suis allé passer quelques heures sur le carré de sable de l'hotel (plage) et j'ai mangé un cheeseburger sur place pour le lunch. 1 heure plus tard, j'ai du quitter la plage, soufrant de nausé et crampes abdominales. Vers 3pm je me suis mis a vomir sans arret pendant plus de 3 hres, apres avoir réussie a dormir un peu, j'ai pris le téléphone de la chambre et demander a la réceptionniste de l'assitamce médical, elle m'a répondu qu'il n'y avait pas de docteur ni d'infirmaiere sur place. J'ai demander d'avoir de l'eau et un seven up pour me faire répondre encore une fois qu'il ne fesait pas de sevice aux chambre, donc arrange toi body !!

J'ai du donc cogner à la porte de mon voisin pour leur demandé de l'assiatamce ce qu'ils ont fait avec une grande compation pour ma condition. Mardi matin n'allant pas mieux j'ai du téléphone a un medecin local qui est venu a ma chambre pour m'administrer des antibiothiques intramusculaires et des antiobiothique oraux calmant le mal de coeur, pour ainsi me permettre de prendre mon avion de retour a 4 pm le même jour. J'ai du débourser 150.00$ us pour la consultations et les medicaments.

Donc vous comprenderez que je ne suis pas du tout dans l'intention de recommander cet hotel a d'autres personnes. En plus la sécurité durant la nuit était inexistante, plusieurs personnes soul hurlaient et fesaient du bruit très tard la nuit et les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonnorisées. Mon évalution 5/10

It was alright . . . The men in charge of the activities were the highlight of the trip. The pool was a decent size but wasn't as clean as we were hoping. There also wasn't a swim up bar. The biggest complaint would definitely be the food though. We paid for all inclusive but ended up having to purchase almost all of our food outside of the resort. We were disappointed with Flight Center for the mix up in our booking as well.

This is a nice quiet hotel. It is older and may not have everything you are looking for, but if its value for money and you have a limited budget, you can't go wrong.

Our stay at the Hacienda was excellent. Most of the guests at the hotel were Mexicans - a most enjoyable, friendly and fun (loud) group of people. The hotel is very small, so you get to know the staff, and they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was good, although not a lot of variety. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beach club is great, on a nice strip of beach. Only a five minute drive to the airport. Definitely not a 5 star, but if you want a true Mexican feel, its a great little place.

All the staff were most helpful and friendly no matter what our needs- They wanted to please.
The room at the hotel smelled very musty and so I did not sleep well most nights- they did bring in a humidifier but it seemd old and needd service. However the food was perfectly adequate and service excellent.

we had a very good time at the hacienda! It is full of Mexican charm. It is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but a wonderfull 3 star hotel. we have 2 kids under 4 years and they had a great time, loved the buffet and pool. if you are looking for perfection or to complain and find faults don't stay here...however if you want a quiet, relaxing no worries stay go to the hacienda. the spa is worth the money, beach club is great and staff are awesome. would come again

disons que pour nous un 3 étoiles seraient suffisant. sommes a notre 20e vvoyage environ, disons mangeons quand meme mieux qu'a Cuba.vieux vallarta a vvisité, car typique...

great vacation weather was hot and sunny the hotel was clean and friendly the food was very good lots of variety

People were friendly. Buffet food was average. A la carte meals were excellent. Excellent location of hotel to Marina, beach, flea markets and Walmart.

As expected for the price, however the food was better than expected based on what people have told me about other all inclusives. The negative was traffic noise.

We went back a second year to stay here because of the lovely staff, convenient location, and decent price.
Love that there are both Mexican and North Americans (mostly Canadians) staying here as it feels more "homey" and less "touristy".
It's an old building and not gleamingly posh, but if you're up for a more genuine Mexican hotel, this place is lovely.

Ok for the money, mouldy smell in room, some noisy neighbours, but very nice staff and close enough to beach.

This was our second visit to this hotel.We enjoy the staff and friendly atmosphere.Rooms are clean and comfy.Food is good and they have a good variety.All the staff go out of their way to accomodate you.

We had an amazing time at the Hacienda! The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to us when we arrived. The food was great! It was way better then we had expected considering everyone usually complains about the food at all inclusive s. It was our first time here and we met some great people that have been coming to this resort for years and only go to the Hacienda. We highly recommend the Hacienda to anyone who wishes to go! A big shout out to David the activities guy - he does an awesome job! Cant wait to go back again next year :D

Was very nice. Met absolutely great people! Wasn't a party atmosphere, but more intended for couples to get away & enjoy a quaint setting & some rest & relaxation.

This place should be torn down and rebuilt !!!! We moved after i night.

Maybe the best deal ever for the price. Even rainy weather could not spoil this holiday.

All the Staff at the Hacienda made our trip great and we plan to return many more times
