Close to airport. Everything went smooth. Hotel a bit dated but neat and tidy. Room was as expected. We were on 6th foor so oceanview was nice. Walls are paper thin but we expect people to party in that type of place. Food at buffet was good overall. A la carte restaurants were average. Had excellent service at Martino's but very indifferent service at the Garden of Eden. (waiter needed some improved social skills). Beach is great and the vendors don't bother you much.

Hotel was clean, staff plentiful and pleasant. Beach was great and boats available for use.
Food is terrible - same stuff served twice a day every day on the buffet, and good luck getting an early seating, if any, to the other restauarants. Cheapest ingredients used - several white pastas, beans, rice, breads, plain spaghetti sauce

It was a good hotel, not exceptional. I came with a few friends, all of us around 23-27 years old. We were expecting a livelier type of resort but it turns out that this resort is a MUCH older crowd and just a little too quiet. The reviews we've read did not give us that impression at all. The service was okay but wished they at least left water bottles in our rooms when the room service cleaned up instead of us having to go up and down from our room to the main area just to get water at night.

Also, it was disappointing that there was construction going on just beside us. We wanted to be able to take long walks by the beach area but was closed off by a fence.

Overall, it was an okay experience. I think I will spend a little more next time for a nicer resort.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The buffet food became very repetative, so mix it up with a la carte reservations. It was very windy on a few day but still very enjoyable with constant games and activities to participate in. Must find away to keep the seagulls away from the pool 2 out of 4 people got pooped on. Nightly entertainment was great, especially the piano man in the piano bar there is also the music and dancing in the main lobby and then the disco to end the night. Overall had a great stay.

The hotel was better than expected. After reading all the negative comments, we were a little leary booking here. Once we arrived, we were very happy. Great people, great service,great beach and food.

Resort was full of Students on a Spring break, and very loud at all hours.
The resort was not in our opinion a 4 Star. It was clean, but dated.
All staff was very friendly, and willing to help with requests.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Furniture stained and scratched, drapes torn. Lots of food, available nearly all the time of day and night. Quality of meals o.k.nothing special. Beach lovely, pool area too noisy for an old lady.

This hotel needs to clean up its act. The towels, linens, curtains need replacing. The over powering smell of the piano bar keeps people away. Pool towels are now being recycled without laundering when possible. Gross!

I read a lot of reviews online about this resort... This made me a little afraid of what I had gotten myself into.
I went the week of March 18th. This is a hotel where you will never be bored. There is lots of board games, pool tables, ping pong tables, etc. They also have a rock climbing wall and a trapezes. Activities to keep you busy all day long if you like. The entertainment staff is wonderful and the beach is beautiful.
The Summer Breeze band plays nightly -- and will make you have a good time! Also the nightly shows are a must see.
The room decor is outdated but this was not a problem as I don't go on vaation to be in my room. The bathrooms were recently done over, they were great.
Got my hair done on the beach and loved it :)

Everything was more than we expected. For the money; place was awesome. Staff were great. Food was fantastic. Now on to the not so good stuff. American spring break. Well who knew it runs all of March?? The only downfall to a beautiful vacation was these classless american drunks all over the resort. At times being escorted to there rooms by security. If you can avoid the month of March; you will have a blast.

This was a good all-inclusive resort. I wasn't very impressed with the food, but the drinks were great and the staff were fantastic. Nice beach and pool area. The bedroom decor is questionable, but the bathroom was newly renovated.

You get what you pay for. It was a decent stay in a dated resort but the attitudes and good times provided by the employees made up for it.

Spring break from end of feb to may is what one of the staff told us! I didn't pay for drunk 18 yr olds throwing up outside of our room or yelling and screaming until all hours of the night. We upgraded our room or so we thought. Balcony was all of 12 inches wide. Room wasn't what we were expecting at all for the money we paid. We have stayed at Riu palace beach front room and sandals Jamaica concierge suite for the same price! Cleaning and front desk staff left much to be desired! We had to ask for our room to be cleaned, a few times they didn't even leave towels! I had to call front desk 3 times and eventually go down and demand someone come clean up the throw up in front of my room. As for the Bahamas, visit it in a couple of years. They are in between 3rd world country and resort place right now with construction and garbage every where! Scuba diving was brutal. If its too windy to take us where we paid to go, discount it or refund our money. Don't take us diving in an snorkeling place!

Enjoyed our stay. The hotel is older but nicely laid out. Newer bathrooms. Hotel is clean and well kept. Staff are great.
Good entertainment in the evenings. Food lots to choose from and always good.
The beach is great for running or walking and the water is clear and clean.
You can take a bus safely into town to shop or have lunch.

Rooms/furniture outside elevators need to be updated. Went for bachelorette party; would never go here with husband or kids. Don't go during spring break. Wasn't bad; still had a great time but if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, avoid spring break

Overall my girlfriend and I had a great time here. The resort was clean and the staff was friendly and fun. Our room had a newly renovated bathroom which was nice. [TIP - if the toilet keeps running pull up on the handle for a couple seconds and it should stop] The beach was amazing - not overcrowded - and there were always beach chairs available. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive - great breakfast and good food at the pool grill. The only negatives -> room cleaning was extremely slow - we didn't even get our rooms cleaned on 3 of the days because they still hadn't got to our room by dinner time - and the service at the Garden of Eden a-la-carte was super slow. Otherwise a great time and we would return.

they did not take our requests made at booking time and put my husband and i in a room with two bed instead of king size. we did switch rooms the next after a lot of confusion at the front desk but ended up with a ground floor which our agent also requested floor 5 and up. i left a dress that i love in the first room and when i realized it was gone when i was packing to go home i called front desk and they were not going to look in the "lost and found" room for me because housekeeping was gone for the day, but seeing as we were leaving the next day before housekeeping got there someone went and looked and surprise it wasn't there. about housekeeping we were only there for 3 days so we didn't need to get our room done and waste clean sheets and towels. they start knocking on doors at 830 and slam doors behind them which echos down the halls and in to hotel room. A lot of the staff seemed rude as they do not accept tips so it doesn't really matter to them to be quick or courteous. it is English speaking and the staff from what i understand is well paid so they do not go out of their way as much as other tropical destinations. There was also construction being done right in the room above us starting at 8 am without any notice, we could clearly and loudly hear banging, sawing and tiles being ripped up, the front desk barely just apologized. After all of this the drinks were excellent and the food was great. the beach was nice, the pools were nice but cold.overall the look of the resort was okay. the Jacuzzi was out of order and you wont see trapeze unless you are up early, i only saw rock climbing once and it was booked, it was not being done by what was on the schedule. we will not be returning to this resort unless some serious changes are made, but we will go back to Nassau it is beautiful and the locals and local food is lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at the Breezes. We were on the 4th floor facing the pool, partial sea view. Room was large and clean. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great, dinner got a bit monotonous. A la carte restaurants are very good. A few minor nuisances: no wifi, only one computer worked the entire week we were there so almost impossible to get; whirlpool/hot tub is covered up and doesn't work; booking restaurants is very difficult, you can only book 24 hours in advance and have to call between 9 and 11 a.m. but by 9:15 a.m. the restaurants are full for the next day, so you sit by the phone and redial over and over until you can hopefully get through. It's a small resort compared to the others on cable beach, but we were happy with it. Beach is beautiful. Lots of lounge chairs by the pool and beach. If you are expecting a 5 star, you'll be disappointed. If you want a 5 star, pay the money and go to Atlantis.

We had a good vacation. The property is not fancy and is a little tired, but it is clean. The staff is nice, and it's nice not worrying about carrying cash for tipping. Our T.V. never worked and we asked twice to have it looked at but no one ever came. Holston in the piano bar was fantastic and we had a great time singing along! The food was good, not great, but we always had something to eat. They do serve premium alcohol. The beach was beautiful and there were lots of chairs available. The entertainment staff was always busy and there was a great band in the evening.

Beautiful stay in the Bahamas

not much of an experience . the flight was cancelled 8 days before we were to go. sunquest did reimbursed us but we were really looking forward to going to breezes nassau. maybe next year because i hear that all direct flights from halifax to nassau are cancelled for this year

We had a wonderful time.

I was disappointed with the quality of the hotel.No complimentary wifi in lobby. It was in need of repair. My hotel room door did not close correctly and my shower was broken. The checkin process was very manual, slow and disorganized. The check out information provided by the hotel was incorrect (3 days off). The food and beach were ok. Overall poor value for your money. I will not be recommending this hotel to my friends.

Other than flight issues with Thomas Cook, vacation was fabulous. Hotel is a quick 10 minutes from airport and check in was relatively quick. Food was good, especially the breakfast buffet. Beach and grounds were nice. Felt quite safe in and around resort, as well as, downtown Nassau. Room was fine, beds were comfy,cleanliness was A1. Day/evening entertainment was okay. Would return to resort in a heartbeat. Liked the 14 . No little ones running around.

The hotel was old and dated but food, service and cleanliness was great! I would go back again just not with Thomas Cook Airlines!
