Last minute deal made it worth-while for family to travel to this destination, Atlantis/ Coral Tower(just over $600 incl. taxes for each adult; family of three). But $ saved went to high cost of food/ beverages/ restaurant.

13 hr delay, caused much confusion. Front desk were unwelcoming; uncaring towards the reason of our late arrival(4:30a.m.) and bluntly stated reservations were cancelled. Too short of a vacation to complain or waste time asking for manager---finally got lesser quality room for a few hours, then switched later. You really are at their mercy,
even if you paid high buck---good luck!

Aqua-adventure is out of this world fun for all. However, should not have to pay extra for lockers--but of course, everything is extra $!! Aquariums, beach, etc. lots to do and see.

Some sort of night entertainment, whether it be a pianist or solist in the lobby, would make evenings more interesting for families who don't go to club and want to enjoy some live music.

Overall, a great family experience given the unusual low price for this destination. But all extra charges add up quickly, so beware!

We stayed in the villas between the Coral Towers and the Beach Towers. It was steps to the beach, pool and stingray pond. There was so much for the children to do and see on a daily basis. The only problem was figuring out what to do each day as there was too much to choose from!

Moved room to closer to centre of this very large complex. Aquariums were magnificent - lots for families to do. Difficult to walk full length of complex - lots of stairs for a semi-disabled person.

We had the best vacation at Atlantis Paradise Island. So much to do and such friendly staff. I did not find the poolside food to be excessively expensive as I saw so many people post. There were some restaurants that were expensive but we were able to find affordable options for every meal. We loved our vacation here and will come back again. We just won't come back in November necessarily as the weather wasn't great. We had 2 or 3 perfect days then the rest of the time was very windy and some days a bit rainy. The beach was closed most of the time, so we stuck to pools. The pools closed at 5pm though. But there are plenty of other activities in the evening including the family open house at Crush from 5pm-9pm which was awesome, the Kid's Club and movies etc. So much to do that it was almost a good thing the pools closed early so we could experience the rest of what Atlantis had to offer.

My husband, ten year old daughter and nine year old son just came back from Atlantis, Coral resort on Saturday October 8th, 2011. We actually booked the Beach resort but sweet talked ourselves up to a Dolphin villa right on the beach, part of the Coral resort. The room was ok, 2 queen beds and a large bathroom as well as a big flat screen TV. We only reallyslept there so it was good enough for the price.
The weather was fantastic all week....the TV showed thunderstorms every day but it only rained occasionally for 5 minutes at a time and the storms only came at night.
The things I would recommend are:
The dig, a cool underground tunnel full of different fish, sting rays, sharks and cool antique archeological stuff.
The lazy river, although my son had 2 pretty bad injuries on the lazy river it's still a must-do. The name isn't appropriate as there are more rapids than lazy parts of this one mile river but the water is refreshing and the rapids, as long as you don't flip, are thrilling. We met a woman who's husband flipped on therapies and he was in his room with a concussion so please be mindful of how crazy those rapids get.
The Mayan Temple 60 foot slide is cool,,,,,as well as the tube ride through the sharks.
EVERYTHING is expensive there so be prepared. We ate at a different restaurant every meal and an average dinner for 4 of us (ordering mostly appetizers and Sharing when we could) was about money bucks a meal. One ice-cream bar is seven bucks, a big bottle ofwater is eight bucks etc, the best way to go in the day is the nine dollar burger, chips and a drink by the pool.
We went into town to Senior Frogs and market shopping which was fantastic if you don't mind the twenty dollar cab ride each way.
The kids club was a god send a few times. Hubby and I would drop them for 45 bucks each for 3 hours and they had a Willy Wonka theme night and a Circus day that they loved. We went to the casino (won 300 bucks) and had a few quiet meals which were fabulous.
All in all we had a terrific time and would definitely go back.

Atlantis exceeds my expectations every time I visit - this is my 3rd time going. There is always something new and the staff are amazingly friendly. This time, there was a free concert on the beach for hotel guests only - Jordan Sparks & Jason Derulo. It was fantastic!

Good, very beautiful

I have visited many great beach resorts and Atlantis is not one of them. For the amount everything cost ($1600/person for a 4-day trip) we feel we didn't get our money's worth. The food is incredibly overpriced (a breakfast buffet cost us $52!). Also, the amenities are nothing special. However, we did enjoy swimming with dolphins and interacting with the staff. Everyone was very friendly. Overall, Atlantis is not a place I would ever go again. I much prefer Aruba or even Cuba.

Excellent resort. Beyond the cleanliness of the hotel - the marine life habitats, water park and beaches were also immaculate. The staff were highly respectful in all interactions as well as attentive....and you could see this was genuine in their demeanor. Food was not as outrageous as everyone had led me to believe. Quality was well within what you are paying for. We would go back.

Great place for a family vacation! People could not have been nicer! I loved that it was not all inclusive so there were not drunk people everywhere. And everyone spoke english which made communication easier. Pools and beach were beautiful. Restaurants were excellent.

a ete une experience innubliable, super!!!!, tout est magnifique la bas : plage , hotel, personnel, ambiance, distractions, etc, On pense retourner un jour. Les activites sur le site pour les enfants et pour les adults sont nombreuses et interesants.Il y en a des restaurants pour tous les bugets. Dans un mot : superb!!!

This hotel has it all my first time was 15 years ago and what a make over i got this trip at a very good price so i brought my husband for his 40th birthday i have to say bye the meal plan when booking this trip the food there is very costy over all this was an amazing trip

great resort for families I just wish that I had the opportunity to buy the meal plan there because I would have payed less of the dollar exchange people be aware and check your bill on checkout because it seems the always charge extra for example they had charged us for meal plan we had bought from home only go to carmine restaurant if you are in a group because they dont believe in cutting portion for 2 people even if you ask them too. I dont care abot paying the same prive but dont overwelme with all that food beach was not as nice as shown on brochure full of seaweeds for 2days obviosely they dont belive in raking it every day too much to see not enough time

Expensive but worth the experiece. Absolutely beautiful creation!!!! While being there the beaches were all closed as the tides were rough. Not sure if thats a regular

overall good - expensive for quality of food - could have a fast food outlet for the kids nearby

I had a great time at the Atlantis. The room was great the waterpark was clean and lots of fun, the beach was beautiful!! I went to Atlantis for my birthday..it was by far the best birthday ever!!!

this is my second time at Atlantis, last time i stayed at the Royal Tower, this time at Beach tower. the service at the beach was not as good as my Royal experience (rooms cleaned after 4.00 p.m., etc. still a great vacation i would recommend, lots to do and something for everyone

The most beautiful resort we have ever been, however very little is included in your price,restaurants are very expensive (can of coke 4$)the cheaper ones offer only fast processed food, so if you like hamburgers an fires for whole week you can do it on budget,tips are included in all food prices but they all expect extra gratuity,very busy place if you want peace and quiet expect to walk to far corners of the property, locals offer jet ski and para sailing on the beach you can't make 10 feet without someone asking you if you want to jet ski or para sailing because of that beach is very busy and smell of burn fuel is everywhere on the beach, would recommend and might go again but most likely for the 3 or 4 days only

The Atlantis, as a whole, is fantastic!

Our accomidations at the Beach Tower was made better by an upgrade to an ocean view room...wonderful.

This hotel is unreal. I could go there again and again. Each time you experience something new. Everyone is so nice, kind, and helpful. The facilities are super clean and every bit as beautiful as the pictures show.

Good hotel. Seemed a bit 'tired'...but overall still good.

It was alright. The water park was good but a lot smaller than expected. Hotel wasn t as classy as all the hype led up to be. Overall an average experience
