The service and location are perfect!

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve. Tres bon hotel de qualité supérieur et avec un personnel compétent et attentif à tous nos besoin. Le package "club Level" est un "must" et vous évitera des dépenses exhorbitantes!

this hotel has a great location, 10 minutes to the malacone, close enough to walk and far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pools but the hotel was only about a third full and they could not seem to find us a king size bed unless we upgraded hmmm. the food was ok, the buffet left something to be desired and you were only allowed to go to the 2 ala carte resturants once each, and when one was opened the other was closed. although no one told you that you could order off the menu at the pool or in the big buffet palapya at any time, the food off the menu was much better but still not awesome. all in all about a 3 and a half star, and really good for around 1000 per person right out of comox.

I have been to many resorts but man this is simply heaven.
I was not sure if this resort will be good or what kind of food they will offer or about the quality of alcohol. but they passed all my expectations and won me over.
Amazing staff, clean, perfectly located and most of all amazing food :)
dont even think about it for a sec just go and get the package it is worth it... and also make sure to go to Mexican fiesta on Thursday night and Sunday brunch ... great memories

We enjoyed the room looking over the water, pools, garden, and Puerto Vallarta. The farther pool was great; clean, warm, secluded, mostly adults. Large pool good for kids. Liked the large property to wander around. Well kept grounds. Nice grassy pier to walk out on or have a wedding. All inclusive able to eat, have drinks, when we want. Prefer this as we do not have to go looking for food all the time. Do not like the stew or mixed type food, prefer plain things. Lot of good fruit available. Desserts too sweet for us. Omlet lady is good. They will try to accommodate your food requests at restaurants, e.g. no batter with shrimps.Sunday brunch with entertainment is good. Property is very clean. Conceirge lady very good, like "everyone's Mum" at solving problems. Internet is expensive with a time limit. Waste time with frustration in trying to get to what you want. Loud music and MC for a wedding one night, which went on until 1 p.m. If we were to make that kind of noise until 1 p.m. I think something would be done. The other guests were people whom you would want to know, well behaved, impressed by the young people as having very good manners.
The room was very quiet. Probably good building construction. Do not hear your neighbours. Bathroom a little small. Beds were really good, nice sheets, soft bed. Large window wall with windows that open give the feeling of a balcony. Feel safe at this hotel, appears lots of security at street and beach areas as well as plenty of staff around all the time. Liked that we were able to walk into town and back. Ambience and feel: international style hotel with a touch of Mexico.

The Sheraton's location is excellent-easy walk to downtown and to the mall. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are fine-beds & pillows were comfy, bathroom a bit small, but clean. Breakfast was excellent - dinner and supper buffets had a limited variety of food. Better to order off the menu. The Sunday morning champagne brunch was excellent-enjoyed the mariachi band too. We loved the pools, they are heated and have an inside ledge-which we used alot. We were fortunate to see whales right in front of the hotel many times-certainly a highlight.

....by and large wonderful attentive but not overbearing service. Food leaves a lot to be desired. First time in 13 years we have been "all inclusive" and would not do again unless we had a good review of a hotel from a friend. Great location - close to town.

The hotel was beautiful, great food, and wonderful staff. Had a great time. Would definitely return.

Hotel itself was nice and clean. However, the food selection was not great at all. There were no Mexican dishes and the buffet was the same everyday with not too many selections to choose from. There was no nightly entertainment which was a bummer. Also you had to sign a free bill for everything you had to drink and eat. That was really uncommon and really annoying. The staff were very nice and the city itself is beautiful.

For traveling alone for the first time, the hotel was very accomadating, with enough things to do,and being less than a 10 minute walk to downtown, a good location for single travelers,safe at night even for girls. A GOOD PLACE TO BE

What a wonderful place to go. From the time we got there till the time we left. Staff are fantastic, food is good, Sunday brunch you will not find any better. Only down side and really not that bad.. you had to sign your bill every time you left the area. Even though it was all inclusive.

Hotel was very clean and spacious however the late night music (Grad party to 1:00am and wedding parties 2 other nights) spoiled our sleep. We were disappointed that the hotel allowed smoking everywhere.

You are close to everything . And all was great except for a graduation party that was held at resort. They need to point the speakers out to sea to try to cut down on noise or just not hold them.

We had the most amazing trip!
Sheraton Buganvilias was so wonderful - wonderful service, wonderful food, wonderfully clean rooms with comfortable beds.
We loved this resort - and loved this City. Highly recommended!!!

Hotel location is very good, is it 15 minutes walk from downtown. food was great but you half to sign the bill every time you eat or drink. friendly and helpful staff. if you want to play tennis, you have to bring your own tennis equipments or pay for rent.

This was one of the worst trips I had ever taken in over 40 years of travel.
The Sheraton should take a close look at their international reputation and act on making this hotel equal to others.Although the rooms were OK, they certainly were not a 5 star quality as they advertise themselves.
Firstly, the food is just about inedible. There is abosolutely no choice at the buffet and what you do get is leftovers from the last meal, always cold, tasteless and expensive.
The pool area plays non stop loud rock music all day long. Although I asked several times that they either turn it off or put on some local Mexican music, their answer was that managemet only gives them the CDs that they do play.
The beach is tiny and not useable, filled with rocks that have not been cleared. there are no lounge chairs put out so everyone has to be crowded around the pool area. As well, the pool never gets deeper than chest level so it's not possible to do laps for any true excersise.
Lastly, all of the bars shut down at 11 pm leaving guests with no place to gather socially.
AS WELL. I used the internet access only to have my computer hacked into and days of pain and sorrow of trying to get help for that.
VERY unimpressed and would never go back

I stayed at the Sheraton from Jan 22-29, 2011, and had a fabulous, memorable vacation! I have never been so spoiled in my life and I have ben on a cruise before and travelled to a few other all-inclusives!

Here are the pros (in my opinion):
- fabulous food (presentation, flavor - Gavioni's Mexican restaurant is amazing and the Italian Trattoria is quite good as well. Definitely try flambeed food at one point (light your food on fire in front of you). Highly recommend special restaurants.)
- thoughtful staff (they were so helpful, cheerful and made the extra effort to make everything perfect)
- great music (there is nice music playing by the pool and at meals there is sometimes live music which was fabulous)
- awesome location (about a 15 minute walk from downtown Malecon boardwalk, it is not side by side with other resorts also which is nice)
- fabulous pools (there are 2 - one for all-inclusive side and one for time-share, you can use either)
- resort is always spotless!
- all rooms are ocean view (big glass window)!
- tips and taxes included in package :)

Here are the cons (in my opinion):
- lots of vendors around on beach and in city (but that's most touristy places in Mexico)
- conference centre (when we were there a 650 people conference came the last few days and affected our stay - loud at night, Mexican Fiesta cancelled due to group, etc.)
- bill signing (had to sign for every single bill during your stay...not the worst thing but sometimes you are waiting for ages to just sign a free bill!)
- no late check-out included (we had a 2:30 am flight and they wouldn't give us a courtesy room to shower in - which we were told would be included, or a later check-out unless we paid $40 we could stay till 6 pm or $60 for 10 pm. so at we had to kill 12 hours outside our room, not horrible but a shower would have been nice)
- lack of equipment or water supplies included (tennis racquets cost $4.50 to rent even with all-inclusive, no water sports supplies other than volleyballs and air mattresses for pool)

The beach was okay. There is some coarse sand and some fine sand. It's not like the white Cancun beaches, but that's Puerto Vallarta. Drinks were good, I found the "girly" drinks too sweet and the other drinks to hard, that would be my only complaint. A couple of glasses of wine with dinner every night was fabulous though!

***If you want an exquisite culinary experience while relaxing in the hot sun and enjoying the company of others, the Sheraton Buganvilias is the place for you!***

But if you are either going alone or want party central and a place with tons of young people going crazy, you should probably pass on the Sheraton...

everything at this resort is very good. I have never been to a AI and been able to order off menus whenever you want to. Try gravotitos to experence fine dining. You will leave there feeling fulfilled

Première fois en formule tout inclue. Personnel accueillant et très serviable. Très bons repas et on a toujours le choix entre buffet ou à la carte. Très beau site. Chambre très belles et toujours propre. La clientèle est assez âgée par contre. Une place assez tranquille, si c'est ce que vous recherchez.

I expected far more from a Sheridan, yes it was clean but it lacked any communication. After a late arrival hotel staff failed to mention that in a short time everything would be closing for the night, so after a day on the plane we went to bed hungry and a little pissed off. This hotel is for people to have the odd meal or drink and a safe clean place to put your head down, not an all inclusive. Did have a really good time but I wont go back till I slow down.

hotel would not supply a courtesy room with a 12 hr. wait for the flight home. we had a small variety of food, not even shrimp. service was good, but hotel rep. did not help us with our room problem.

Food was very good, but we would have preferred more Mexican options like mole poblano, mole verde, tacos, burritos, gorditas, and a variety of other Mexican dishes and drinks.
The fish and chicken were very good but a little repetitive.
Brekfast was the best part with a variety of options, delisios chilaquiles, omelettes, fruits, cereals and other stuff.
The location of the hotel is absolutely great!!! Close to downtown (10 minutes walking) and at the same time quiet.
Pool good with excellent service.
Not a great beach, however. Staff very friendly and over all good service. Rooms spacious and clean. Would return there tomorrow if we could!

Great location. Can walk to downtown in about 15 mins. The place was very well kept, the food was good and great pool, our room was beautiful and I think that all rooms look out to the ocean. You can hear the ocean waves at night as you fall asleep, even with the windows closed! Free wireless (but will need to bring your own lap top,etc. as none are avail for free). They offer activities for kids, volleyball, tennis, ping pong, Span. lessons, etc are included. They do rent out the facility at times and we were awoken one night at 1:30 am (awake till 3am!)with some kind of noisy, outdoor event -- which we were not too happy about! But, that happened one time only. There is no night entertainment activities at the Sheraton after
11 pm. Included with your all inclusive are: a special 'Mexican' Fiesta night on Thurs. which are fun, as well as 2 specialty restaurants. Reserve for all of these as soon as you get there, as they book up. There was a good variety of food at the buffet for all your regular meals, as well as a snack bar (included for all incl) at the pool. The staff were good. It does get cool in the evening (Dec/Jan) so dress accordingly and you could get mosquitoe bites (they love me!) Recommended outing: Rythms of the Night (around $90. person, but you might be able to bargain this down, if you shop around - or get free outings if you attend an 'all inclusive' sales pitch somewhere! -- negotiate this ahead though!!!).

Good service on all levels

Nice clean hotel representing good value this time of year. Central location. Good value on AI golf at $66.00 USD per round. No swimming at the beach.
